Artist Statement
My work can be divided in two main subject matters; Memories and Portraits.
Memories:
I see photographs as life's bookmarks. This work has its roots in the desire to capture the essence of a memory as the memory is being created. To achieve this I concentrate in the image composition and color pallet.
Portraits:
This work is rooted in a desire of capturing and expressing the beauty of the human body with an emphasis in the female form.
Digital Photography experimentation using Canon EOS DSLR Canon XTi with EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM, 120-400mm IS, and EF 50mm f/1.8 II. Some urban mobile photography using w810i. And as a backup I use the SD880 IS.
